I’ve been a hard-core Ubuntu fan for a long time but it’s starting to change.
Might just install stock Debian because I’m used to the way it works and the apt and deb package system.
Was also debating between OpenSUSE and Fedora. But apparently OpenSUSE is making significant changes that might not make it as good.
I don’t understand how they’re still doing it. This is literally the reason I see most often for people turning away from Ubuntu.
They must really expect to be able to thoroughly enshittify Snaps, otherwise it can’t be worth it for them.
But it will come back at the next big update. This was the reason I stopped using ubuntu
