I run EndeavourOS with KDE Plasma, my shell of choice is zsh with oh-my-zsh (with Kitty as the terminal client, since it supports images with some TUI programs!)

I use LibreWolf as my browser of choice, though I would recommend base Firefox, Floorp, and Zen Browser over it for most people, since extra steps were needed to disable some of the anti-fingerprinting that I find unneccesary for my threat model.

My main chat application is Element (Matrix). I also have installed Halloy (IRC) and Stoat, but I rarely ever use either. My email client of choice is Thunderbird, and I recently discovered systray-x for adding a tray icon on Linux! Unfortunately, I need to use Teams as well, so I have the Teams for Linux unofficial client installed too.

Since I’m using KDE Plasma, I’m using the Dolphin file manager as well as KDE Connect for sharing files and other bits between devices (Localsend is also installed, but it is a little less reliable and has less functionality). I have KGet (for regular files) and qBitTorrent (for torrents, obviously) to manage my downloads

KeePassXC is the password manager I use (with Syncthing)

I use nano, Kate, and VSCodium as my text/code editors, depending on how complicated the file I’m reading is. I have tried (unsuccessfully) to use neovim, it isn’t for me. I make games with the Godot game engine (more fun to use + less resource intensive than Unity!)

I often use Inkscape for designing vector graphics, as well as Aseprite for pixel art! I also have Audacity for quick edits of audio (nothing fancy though), as well as Kdenlive as a video editor.

I use LibreOffice for creating documents, presentations, and spreadsheets, and my Markdown editor of choice is Marktext (it seems to be the only one with a live editing + folder structure, with no weird vault system like Obsidian)

I use rmpc, an MPD client, for listening to music, and I use nomacs for viewing images. OBS is useful for screen recording.

I mostly play a mix of Minecraft (through Prism Launcher), Luanti (currently enjoying the Asuna game!), and retro games (with ES-DE and Retroarch). I also have installed Xonotic (an FPS game) and SuperTuxKart (the GOAT), as well as Lutris for playing some modern PC titles that aren’t Minecraft or Luanti.

I use Freetube for watching YouTube videos!
