3 days agoI hate how I need to put URLs in quotes now that I switched to zsh. But over 2025 I finally internalized the fact that I have to.
Otherwise, as a CLI novice, I have not noticed much being different.
(macOS, I finally ran the command to migrate a year or two ago)
I wouldn’t be surprised that it was just the few things I use that didn’t care. YouTube-dl was one of them. I wouldn’t be surprised if I was living a lie, and zsh enforced what should have been normal across the board.
I’m not that aware or savvy about the structure of the terminal and what a shell even is. 😅
