Better to go with Lix, imo. NixOS had a controversy surrounding sponsorship of American warfare industry.

Fair point, I guess it’s then better to focus on reducing rather than elimination, if the latter’s not viable (yet).
Hmm. I run an Intel-based Max, so I should then have more viable options, I guess.
I definitely will back up my files - I have an external SSD, so I’ll use that!

One note is that when I checked Wikipedia’s list of “Wikis”, I noticed in its history there was an attempt to add the ProleWiki and AnarWiki, by the same user, who also tried removing the fascist’s “wiki”. Unfortunately, that got reverted.
