Out of curiosity, how does this tie into the whole “AI might destroy humanity” thing?

The ideation, the reasoning, the experience, the analysis, the deciding what is truly important, that must come from you.
I have some bad news, though… it was never about any of those things, either. It was about making money. All that stuff is just a weight on the bottom line and companies only do it because they have to.
There are companies doing great commercially with not-so-great software
And this is what makes it possible. Let’s use AI for ideation, reasoning, experience, analysis, and deciding what is truly important. Maybe the product is a little more crap, but people put up with crap products all the time. If a company can make up in the margin what its losing in revenue, it’ll make that trade every time.

I’ll readily admit FF has problems. But it’s most definitely MHO that Google is far, far more evil. It’s not clear why they fund FF other than the antitrust angle.

Which is great, for sure. But, additionally, I’m unwilling to go back to a single engine ecosystem, especially not one with Google’s hands on it. I still remember coding around IE6. 😅

Nostalgic AF. Honestly, though, uBO (desktop and mobile) is the killer feature of FF over Chrome. Haven’t touched Chrome in years.
