Mostly fine. Couple of hiccups with jumpy and sensitive animations. I wonder if I can fix that in the settings. I haven’t delved that deep yet.
Yessir indeed it is.
It’s called catwalk enhanced it’s a widget that measures how hard my cpu is working. (The faster it runs the hotter the cpu)
My surface is at 84%battery life so it’s not great to start, but I can get 3.5-4 hours out of it.
In used that on my Chromebook once! It worked alright but it would have been better on a more powerful machine.
I’m using fedora KDE with the surface-kernel I know that Nobara Linux works as well. I believe cachyOS works, as well as a couple others.
It did but I’m using a surface pro 4 with a special surface-kernel to make it work. so it’s probably my own fault for playing god.
(Well maybe a lesser god)
This has helped tremendously!
It ground my computer to a halt, which sucks because I REALLY liked the interface.
Stuttering, two finger support is missing (I guess , I haven’t seen an option for it ). And I can’t switch desktops and such.
I was using gnome but it made my surface pro 4 basically grind to a halt. Decided to try KDE. It’s much quicker but I get a somewhat stuttery touch screen session. And trying to switch desktops is terrible.
I ain’t got monitor money.
It’s a Chromebook. IDEApad 3 11in h.

i was lookin into it and they dropped support for surface recently. : (
