Anywhere and everywhere. It happens even in communities that have a rule against it. Which is the only way I can see it since I have blocked all the pro-llm/slop gen communities.
I am glad that there are truly discerning lemmings that are calling it out. I just saw one earlier this morning. I didn’t even notice it was slop until I saw a comment pointing it out.
I downvote all slop but I’m terrible at discerning it, so if the consensus in the thread is that it’s slop, I downvote. It’s the best i can do while I learn to tell it apart. It keeps getting harder and I think it’s a terrible idea to throw around AI accusations without being sure. That could crater someone’s self esteem.
It’s not coming from one just community. I’ll admit that there are some really astute people calling it out and most, if not all, comms deal with it properly.

I don’t think that’s AI generated. The photo of earth part could easily be. But the meme doesn’t give AI vibes at all.
